Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Command+K (“we”, “us”) for using commandplusk.com and the CMD+K products. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. We’ve kept them short and in plain language on purpose.

The service

Command+K lets you publish MCP servers, embed an AI chat widget in your product, and meter AI usage. We host and operate the platform; you configure what it does for your product and your users. We ship improvements continuously, which means features can change, improve, or occasionally be retired — when something you rely on is retired, we’ll give you reasonable notice.

Your account and workspace

You need accurate account information and you’re responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your API keys and signing secrets safe. You must be at least 16 to use the service.

Plans, trials, and payment

Every workspace starts with a free trial — no card required. Paid plans are billed in advance at the listed price, and usage beyond a plan’s included monthly credits is covered by prepaid credit packs you buy explicitly: there is no metered overage billing and no surprise invoice. Prices for new customers can change; for existing subscriptions we’ll notify you before a price change takes effect. You can cancel any time — your plan then runs to the end of the paid period.

First payment, 7-day refund. If you are not happy with Command+K, ask within 7 days of your first paid invoice on a workspace and we will refund it in full, no reason required. The refund covers that first subscription charge only; credit packs bought separately, renewals, and later invoices are not covered. One refund per customer.

Outside that window, and except where the law requires otherwise, payments and unused credits are non-refundable. We reserve the right to decline or claw back a refund, and to suspend, rate-limit or restrict an account, where usage in the refund period materially exceeds a plan’s stated limits, where our systems indicate automated or abusive consumption, where the refund is requested repeatedly across workspaces or accounts, or where we have already borne a corresponding model-provider cost that cannot be recovered. Lifetime Deal licenses are one-time purchases that cover the service as offered, for as long as we operate it.

Your content

Everything you put into your workspace — knowledge sources, configurations, conversations — stays yours. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run the service (for example, sending conversation context to AI model providers to generate responses). We don’t use your content to train our own models. You’re responsible for having the rights to the content and APIs you connect.

Your end users

If you embed the widget or publish an MCP server, you’re responsible for your own users: telling them an AI assistant is in play, having a privacy policy that covers it, and making sure the tools you expose to them are safe to expose. We process their data on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, send spam, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, resell access to the raw AI models, or build a competing service by scraping ours. We can suspend workspaces that put the platform or other customers at risk — we’ll tell you why and work with you to restore access where possible.

AI output

AI-generated responses are probabilistic: they can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You’re responsible for reviewing how assistants behave in your product and for any decisions made based on their output. Don’t rely on the service for medical, legal, or other high-stakes advice.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service up, but it’s provided “as is” without a formal uptime guarantee — unless you have an Enterprise agreement with an SLA. We may briefly interrupt the service for maintenance, and we’ll aim to schedule it considerately.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: we’re not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost data, lost business), and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your workspace at any time. We can terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. After termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy — export what you need first, and if you need help exporting, ask us.

Changes to these terms

As the product and the company grow, these terms will evolve — including when a formal legal entity takes over operating the service, at which point that entity becomes your counterparty under the same terms. For material changes we’ll notify you in the product or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
