How do I whitelabel the CMD+K widget?

Whitelabeling removes every visible mention of CMD+K from the widget and from the consent screens CMD+K itself renders, replacing them with your brand. You set your logo, brand color, and product name in the dashboard, and the widget — plus the OAuth consent screen shown when someone authorizes an MCP server you host on CMD+K — adopt them automatically. A third-party provider's own consent screen stays branded by that provider. Whitelabeling is included on the AI Pilot plan.

What gets rebranded?

  • Widget header — your product name and logo replace 'CMD+K'.
  • Footer — 'Powered by CMD+K' is removed.
  • Docked embeds — when you host the surface inside your own layout, add data-cmdk-chrome="minimal" (and optionally data-cmdk-font="inherit") to the script tag so the iframe drops its own close/collapse buttons and logo/name header and uses your page font — your header and typography are all the visitor sees. See Docked / native embed.
  • OAuth consent — the consent page CMD+K renders for an MCP server you host here shows your branding, not ours. A third-party provider's own consent page (Linear, Notion, GitHub, Atlassian, Intercom) is served by that provider and cannot be rebranded — register your own OAuth app with them if you want your name on it.
  • Email notifications — transactional emails (invites, summaries) use your workspace name.

Setup steps

Open Settings → Branding in the dashboard. Upload your logo (SVG recommended, 64×64 minimum), pick a brand color (any hex), and set your product name. Changes apply to every assistant and consent screen immediately.

Plan gating

On the free trial and the AI Adopter plan, the Branding panel shows a lock badge and an upgrade link. On AI Pilot, the lock disappears and your saved branding goes live the moment you save.

FAQ

What plans include whitelabeling?
The AI Pilot plan. The 14-day free trial and the AI Adopter plan show a small 'Powered by CMD+K' link in the widget footer.
Does whitelabeling cover OAuth consent screens?
It covers the consent screen CMD+K itself renders — the one users see when authorizing an MCP server you host on CMD+K. It cannot cover a third-party provider's own consent screen (Linear, Notion, GitHub, Atlassian, Intercom): that page is rendered by the provider and shows whichever OAuth app was used, so register your own OAuth app if you want your name on it.
Can I host the widget on my own subdomain?
The widget script and assets are served from cdn.commandplusk.com today. Custom CDN subdomains are on the roadmap.
