CMD+K Widget· Knowledge base

Ground the assistant in what your product actually says.

Point the assistant at URLs, docs, and uploads. It answers with inline citations end users can click through, and re-crawls on a schedule so nothing goes stale.

URLs, docs, uploads

Crawl a sitemap, drop in PDFs, or paste markdown.

Inline citations

Every answer links to its source paragraphs.

Audiences

Scope sources per audience so customers don't see internal docs.

How grounding works

  • Sources are chunked, embedded, and stored per workspace.
  • The assistant retrieves top-k chunks per turn and cites them inline.
  • Recrawls run on a configurable cadence with diff-aware re-embedding.

Audience scoping

Build separate audiences (e.g. "Customers", "Internal") and assign sources accordingly. The widget picks the right audience based on the host context you pass at init.

Cited or it didn't happen

Answers without retrievable evidence are flagged for review in the audit log so you can fix the source set, not the prompt.
